A roof has collapsed at a factory in the town of Dzerzhinsk near Moscow, killing at least one person.

The Emergency Situations Ministry said one person was killed in the accident on December 17, while four individuals were rescued and hospitalized. At least two workers still remain under the debris.

According to the ministry, the roof collapsed during repair works at a factory producing heating devices and refrigerators.

The roof fell on an area of 130 square meters, the ministry says.

Rescue efforts are still under way.
